If ever there was a musical act guaranteed to put a smile on your face, The Juan MacLean is it! In fact, so confident of their intent and ability to bring joy to the world, they actually called their latest dance jam “Happy House,” which nobody could dispute. The track had music lovers like our friends at The Fader “drooling like babies”, while Pitchfork noted that the song’s “dozen never-wasted minutes” were “happy and housey as all get out.”

Finally, The Future Will Come, The Juan MacLean’s highly anticipated sophomore album, will be released April 14th on DFA Records. Unabashedly emotional, both in lyrically and musically, it’s difficult not to let each song take over your head and body, turning you into the dancing, breathing robot Juan MacLean and Nancy Whang (of LCD Soundsystem) sing about.

With the help of DFA labe mates Gerry Fuchs (formerly of !!!) and Nick Millhiser and Alex Frankel (Holy Ghost!), The Future Will Come features both 2008 club hits, “The Simple Life” and “Happy House”, along 8 other blessed out tracks that are sure to soothe your soul in these trying times.

In preparation for the release of The Future Will Come next month, The Juan MacLean will drop a remix EP for “One Day” (available both digitally and on vinyl) this week, featuring remixes by Mark Romboy, The Emperor Machine and Surkin, along with a digital only remix by Lazaro Casanova.

On Saturday March 14�Acustronic, Miami’s most progressive and forward-thinking concept label, and historic gallery,�Luis Perez Galeria, will open its doors for the grand opening of The Awarehouse - a pioneering new events venue and fine art gallery that is set to become a new innovation in contemporary culture, music and art for South Florida and its burgeoning entertainment industry.

Acting as the label’s new business headquarters, The Awarehouse, located at 550 N.W. 29th Street in Miami’s Wynwood Design District, is more than 20,000 square foot of warehouse and open space that has been renovated and transformed into a dual-purpose complex of contemporary art and sound. The Awarehouse brings an unprecedented new concept for events, fine art and live music to the region and features an indoor concert hall, complete with state-of-the-art stage, sound and lighting system, professional and fully equipped recording studio, private VIP mezzanine and outdoor sculpture garden.

As well as being the permanent home for music production by�organicArma, Acustronic concept label’s own minimalist masters of electronica, within the walls of The Awarehouse lies an exquisite fine art exhibition curated by one of Colombia’s most renowned gallerists, Luis Perez.�Luis Perez Galeria has been home to some of the most renowned artists from around the world. Perez himself was a personal art dealer for the famous abstract sculptor, Edgar Negret. His 20 years in the business has included participation in the most exclusive art fairs around the world such as the FIAC in Paris, ARCO in Madrid, COLONIA in Germany and Art Miami, among many others. The gallery and exhibition at The Awarehouse will become a permanent fixture and present renowned works by surrealist painter Mauro Mejiaz and kinetic op-artist Jesus Rafael Soto. This Wednesday (2/4/09) Off the Radar & Lipstick Mafia Present a screening of the New Cult Movie “The Room” by Tommy Wiseau!

“The Room” (www. theroommovie. com) is being touted as The Modern Rocky Horror Picture Show and has been called by NPR “A Cult Hit So Bad, It’s Good”

It might be the most unintentionally hilarious film of all time and the LM is bringing this Los Angeles cult phenomenon to MIA.

“The Room has even infiltrated the halls of cinematic academia. ”It is one of the most important films of the past decade,’’ says Ross Morin” -Ent.Weekly

The film has a HUGE celebrity following, and stars are even doing screenings at their homes: “Role Models star Paul Rudd and Arrested Development’s David Cross are both fans, as is Jonah Hill, who uses a still from the movie as his MySpace photograph. Heroes star Kristen Bell hosts Room-viewing parties at her house and last year attended the film’s monthly Laemmle screening with Rudd, Hill, and Shaun of the Dead director Edgar Wright.

The event will be held from 11AM - 6PM at our pool! Go to 219 S Ft Lauderdale Beach Blvd (currently Rock Bar) and you will be shown the way to job fair. Please be ready to be photographed and have a copy of your resume.

There are close to 1500 parking spots within a two block radius of the venue with at least two municipal lots.
